The oldest Dj crew is uniting its forces on Friday, July 3.

Trying to remember days when Varka Kru was formed, providing clubbers with quality drum and bass. Anyone wants to listen music of 1996-1999, golden years of drum’n’bass? Nowadays our pathes quite separated, and of couse we gonna play our current selections too.Puma will perfome her own songs live alone and with Alex in dancehall and drum’n’bass styles, she also will play as a DJ (reggaetone/dancehall/reggae). Ignat Gorazd will play two DJ sets, one roots and culture, another breakcore. Betons aka Fotu gonna take dust of old drum’n’bass vinyls, liquid funk style. Kone will join him too, with Roni Size/Bristol sound of nineties. Deep and smooth. +Fresh melodic techno set by the morning.

We wil try to get together old clubbers. Film maker Viesturs Kairishs gonna shoot missing club-scene episodes for his documentary ‘A Man From Varka Crew‘ about Martinsh Rubenis (Betons). See you.

Things were going good for Amber Muse recently - Summer Voyage track by Craft B feat. Nica Brooke has just been licensed for release on Hed Kandi - The world’s most glamorous music and lifestyle brand, how they call themselves.
We really hope Bogdan’s sessions in Space:Garage will grow into good tradition.

The space is open every Friday and Saturday starting from 21.00.
At this time you can get in, enjoy the terrace (not the main floor) and get drinks from Motor Bar.
Free entrance till 00.00. After that - 2Ls. Thats Basic scheme. But it may vary.

Lithuanian scene’s vitality. Three Mookid EPs (Logika, In Sync and
Bubble) were released by Lithuania’s premier techno netlabel Knobs, he
is a requested remixer and his tracks were also included in a number of
compilations from some of the world’s finest techno netlabels.

4. Great russian resource Openspace.ru put a collection of interesting music in cooperation with Snegiri label. Its a nice concept - free downloadable tracks with comments from known people.
The last track - Kinzhal by Belorussian’s band Kassiopea is something out of this world.

Yaputhma Sound System in Slepenais Eksperiments

Yaputhma Sound System. (1995-1997).
As it usually is with many good things, it was bright but short.
A company of young freaks somehow managed to write and perform interesting and way ahead-of-that-time muisc, which became a significant landmark for “now-30+” generation, won a few national awards (including Liepajas Dzintars 96), inspired young artists and left a kind of magic in hearts of those who witnessed.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, shariki and osliki,
this Saturday, May 30. - Yaputhma tribute party in Space:Garage.
Almost all ex-members performing (except Vlad Yakovlev and Shago):
Dj sets from Gosh, Sever, Bongo, Zedmitry. Live set by Evgeny Droomof (aka Choop) feat. VJ Punte.
