As we already wrote, FFF took part in 1st Photography Festival in Leipzig.
On our way back to Riga, we dropped to Berlin’s Panorama Bar, and, as a result,
were 20 minutes late in the airport for the flight to Riga. After investigating all
the available ticket rebooking options, Linards and Dmitry decided to stay one week
more in Berlin and make it to Fusion festival. Thanks to our friends, Janne and Filipp of JK,
we got cozy place in Kreuzberg to stay and work in Berlin. And watch for Fuck For Friendship
tent at the Fusion Festival!
AND NOW A SMALL REVIEW OF THE FOTTO OTTO EXHIBITION IN LEIPZIG
Fotto Otto exhibition was set up in a 3-room apartment in Leipzig. It was made as a
living place of imaginable Otto, a person obsessed with photography, who collects all
kinds of photo pieces. We had hundreds and hundreds of photos everywhere in apartment:
on the walls in the rooms, lying on the tables and chairs, stored in the boxes and arranged in albums.
These were a shots of the friends and by friends, collected especially for this event.
See, its about friendship again!
Fotto Otto was a kind of alternative to the classic photo exhibition, where you have lonely pictures
hanging on the white walls, and gathered a lot of visitors during the festival.
Than we had a crazy opening party in Spinnerei neighbourhood - an area very similar to Andrejsala.
Fotto Otto was made by FFF in cooperation with Egija Inzule of Showroom.

FFF is taking part in F/STOP (1. International Photography Festival) in Leipzig.
As a result of putting our forces together with Egija Inzule (Showroom), we created the project FOTO OTO for the 1. International Photography Festival in Leipzig. We are throwing an opening party on June 20. in Leipzig, Thüringerstr. 12, 2. Etage. Dj ZeDmitry & VJ Linards Kulles will do their best for you.
Then we go Berlin, to join our friends B East Magazine Berlin Launch party and to see El Locco & Two_EM at Fête de la Musique @ Alexanderplatz.

Designed specially for the F/Stop festival, the photography exhibition “Foto Oto” gives an account of the “photographic” everyday life in Latvia. The photographs have been taken from the hard disks of the Latvian youth, their origin and the photographer’s identity being unknown. They serve as contemporary witnesses and reporters of a society and generation. None of the owners wishes to create art by taking pictures. The only important thing is the moment that is being photographed. Shown in the form of a space installation and contextually integrated, the images tell us about a complex society and a time when taking photographs became a popular sport.

Two_EM and el locco in the mix at Space:Garage 18.06.2007
Hello, dear friends!
Things were going up so dramatically fast, that we cant really hold the tension and process all the incoming information in time. First of all it concerns galleries, or photo reports from past events. This is something to do with programming, which is not our strongest skill. But we’re working on it, and we all hope it will come soon.
Latest events in Space:Garage were really great. We want to express our deepest thanks and respect to Rotary Cocktail crew: el locco and Two_EM, who seemed to literally fall in love with the place and were playing nearly non-stop for two days. Then last friday lithuanian artist Golden parazyth brought the athmosphere on the new level with his charmant live performance. And our deepest thanks goes to Minipower crew - Ivars Mednis & DV5, Inara Kreica, Maris G aka RIMI and Gstp, Singalong crew, NGC2158 for the priceless offering of equipment, and of cause Andrejsala for being our home.
And we cant hide our pride about the fact, that we’re actually doing something very important - giving all our love to our audience and providing warm athmosphere for the artists, therefore playing our role in some kind of development.
And this is the greatest delight we can get. Thank you!

* it should be said, that the headline is taken from Biggi Veira (gusgus) interview, regarding the question “why making the 5th studio album of gusgus took so long?”. It should be also said, that “gusgus vs t-world” (which author is Biggi Veira) in our opinion is one of the best electronic music albums ever recorded, and newertheless it was recorded in 1993, it still sounds fresh, and is.. eternal.

Introdusing HELLO, GARAGE! series of events.
With HELLO, GARAGE! series we want to especially rise the standarts of quality music in Riga.
This friday we host two Dj’s from Rotary Cocktail Recordings - Two_EM and el locco.
Rotary Cocktail is a record label from Berlin, runned by Holger Flinsch. Latest release Hey Dude by Two_EM and el locco is getting very high reviews in world of minimal techno at the moment.
Also playing DJ’s Ivars Mednis and DV5 - one of the most active and respected Dj’s around.
Plus Fuck For Friendship Dj’s will join the decks.
