Message for Riga: tonight (Sat, 26.04) there is a concert of Jose Gonzalez in Andrejsala’s Pulkvedis. After that close friends are invited to Space:Garage to hear some experimental sounds from: Oleg Bombey, Contour, Bufetniex and Austrum Mehana.

It goes like this: the contract between Space:Garage and Andrejsala expires on April 30. Before last week there was no any sign, that the contract would not be prolonged. Now, its a big doubt. We definitely will try to continue. In Space:Garage or in other place or places.. we dont know. Nobody knows. Its pity, that it all happened now, at the pick of Space:Garage. We are receiving a lot of requests from different artists and booking agencies at the moment.
After all its not exactly the place, what makes an atmosphere, its people and attitude.
And we have it. Plus the sound, the knowledge, the experience, contacts and of coarse, YOU.
In other words, take the Garage, we still have Space!
Anyway, no drama. Everything will be super fine!
The contract expires on April 30. Today April 24. Tomorrow is Friday.
Got the message? We cant make public events, but we can invite close friends…
Of cause, there will be music.

Tonight (24.04): Zedmitry is playing in Old Town’s Pulkvedis with Kris Hovel on Gus and Anna birthday.

Meanwhile we continue, and this Friday there is a big show in Space:Garage - we got a big company from Berlin, from White Label. Its a big collective of creative individuals, including DJ’s, VJ’s, graphic artists, photographers etc. The program of Friday (Fri, 18.04) night looks like this:

And whats been done during this year you know either. (see the list)
We only want to thank You, Music, Love, World, ..
Its unbelievable how many good people met each other over that time.
And, while there is not always a chance to fuck for it.. yet,
its really all about Friendship!

Now about this weekend.
Tonight (Fri.11.04) there is a Futureshorts film festival new season grand opening in Pulkvedis hall on Andrejsala. Screening begins at 20:00. More info on Futureshorts website.
After that, at around 22:00 Space:Garage invites everyone for a Futureshorts afterparty. At the decks - first time in Space:Garage - Yannick Freund - the man who brought vinyl shop 33/45 to Riga (btw, they just got a bunch of new stuff in the shop). + Yura Le Fleur Du Soleil with a special Mathew Herbert selection.
Entrance is 2Ls. Free with Futureshorts tickets.
And.. we’re keeping a bit low this friday, cause we want some force for Saturday.

On Friday, April 4th we got 2 young producers from Jelgava:
Uppfade & Crown (Electricano / Symphonic music)
Two of the few Latvian producers who already releasing their tracks, and you can easily find them on Beatport or Juno. On the other hand number of dance music releases from Latvia is growing, and good example is DV5, who, apart from being excellent DJ, also done some quality production and is ready to release it on Regroovable Records - new label, which DV5 is running together with Ivars Mednis. So this Friday DV5 is playing in Space:Garage as well. Plus our favourite resident - Kone.
We also continue Saturdays tradition with more relaxed and experimental atmosphere.
This Saturday, April 5. - Dj Contour and Yura aka Le Fleur Du Soleil.
