Oh Lord what a wickeeeeed weekend the last one was! And there’s a lot of proof that this one won’t fall behind.
You know how we love swapping clothes and otherwise dressing up (and dressing down; smirk). Thereby we couldn’t miss the greatest masquerade of the year – LMA’s Carnival!
This Friday, 26th of February we are packing ourselves in black’n’white and hitting the Atmosphere/Stratosphere stage on 3d floor of the great LMA building. Of course, we won’t do without our all-star DJ team: exploring the depths of tech/house – Ze Ivarzz from TikTakRadio, switching between all that’s spunky – Milkmagic, bridging the gap between old-school and fresh floor-busters – Dima Jakuzzi (a.k.a. Dmitry Zagga), showing the beauty of freshly cut trash – Kodek, maximizing the minimal techno – Kris Crown and crystallizing the groove – Home Radio. Aesthetics will be able to do their aerobics against the projections by our favourite video-magicians VJ Daavis and VJ Mlada.
Yet, the Space:Garage at its best known form this night won’t be closed! No-no-noo! Those not into carnivals can surely go to Audeju 12, enjoy our veteran DJs: Selffish, Andrei Oid, Ksenia Kamikaza and others in the morning. Be sure to experience some masques arriving. Especially towards 5am when the official LMA Carnival after-party will commence right at S:G and continue till the last man standing!

Saturday, 27th of February we let the lovely Danscotheek guys to take over the Space:Garage with their regular Kris Hovel and Laurent Dathie, Grupa Svaigums, as well as some peculiar neighbour guests – Out to Lunch and Fresh Tee from La Cadence, Lithuania.
We cannot predict the unpredictable and we are still unsure about our future, but our intuition and the approaching full moon suggests we’ll have a w-end to remember… for ever!

Hi!
Sorry for the late news, it has been a crazy week..
YES! We are up to taking off! Not that we are particularly ready to, but we believe the Destiny knows its thing. So, in the time of weeks we are leaving our physical body, i.e. Audeju 12. Our astral body will float around and regularly land in various locations near you or get a stable parking lot. And since we are oh so spiritual and stuff we believe that this is by all means just a beginning of something spectacularrr! You’ll see it soon ; )
Due to all mentioned above, those tripping around the town are welcome to inform us on any suitable new landing fields – permanent or temporary – it doesn’t matter. (A bottle of Jägermeister or such is guaranteed to the finders of appropriate ones!)
Therefore and even more – we must have a proper good-bye and, figuratively knock those walls off. Respectively, we don’t stop even when we are stopped!
This Friday, 19th of February will be headlined by a Swiss guy named Dario Rohrbach. He has had a proper career trip from living room parties and house after-parties to party organizing and promoting, taking part in various projects, releasing vinyl (on Gelbes Billett label), having regular nights (at Nordstern). Also, switching between his aliases of DCL and Dario Rohrbach, he has travelled through myriads of musical genres – from dnb, jungle and dubstep to house, Detroit and minimal techno. Such experience has resulted in demolishing all musical borders and giving the crowd an instant party bomb with no fear of mixing everything with everything as long as the party is rocking.
This yet unpredictable set will be complemented by always pleasurable and long time not seen Ivars Mednis from Minipower, perpetually surprising Grupa Svaigums and immer kick-ass Milkmagic aus Minanimal.

Saturday, 20th of February Space:Garage is delighted to once again present the already so called guru of house music – the one and only Maxim Kislovsky from St. Petersburg. His specific understanding of house music is based on two decades of heartly dedication to it and therefore touches listeners’ gusto nerves in several of ways. Some might relish in his melancholic groove while others – delight in master’s soft rhythmic combinations. One thing’s for sure – all the perceptive ones might experience some levitation!
Also not too familiar with gravity, our beloved Bombey and Contour from Home Radio will keep the quality heat of the beat up as they’ve always had.
Finally, somewhat levitating by nature, Andrey Emelyanov will hopefully let us enjoy his new tracks freshly released on his label Rockers, by that making sure we will do w/o the public transportation to teleport ourselves home.

From now on the only exercise you’ll need will be on the dancefloor..
No more WC runs from 6th floor to 1st floor, from 6th floor to 1st floor!
All hail the heating God!
See you this weekend! : )
Hi!
A short preview of the upcoming S:G weekend:
Friday, February 12 - massive bio.codes dnb event with special guest - FRACTURE (from the duo Fracture & Neptune; UK)
Fracture & Neptune have built their sound from the ground up, with nothing but hard work and good music. Tending towards the deeper, more “psychedelic” side of things, one could argue that the duo’s strongest quality is their dedication to constantly pushing themselves and in turn, never settling upon any one sound. Though the most original sounding Fracture & Neptune obtained with the synthesis of so called drumfunk wobble and real 70-ies funk, which has been recognized and released by such respected labels as Medschool, Bassbin, Subtle Audio and their own Astro Phonica.
Local support from: BRAIN, VXN, FEE.NIX-Z & MELNIZZ
Read an interview with Fracture & Neptune here
Saturday, February 13 - valentine’s: CONNECT THE UNCONNECTABLE
We’re looking forward to this very much…
At the decks (can you imagine?):
DEX[DA]BASS, BOGDAN TARAN, KSENIA KAMIKAZA, PANBIOPANIKA
It is going to be a one hell of a legendary night!

Howdy! Check out what’s going on in Space:Garage this weekend:
Friday, the 5th of February will bring you a lot of sensual musical moments with guys who definitely play directly from their souls.
Straight from Whereland comes DJ union Dest & MMZ who DJ almost for a decade and do it so well to have their own radio-shows both on Kurzemes and TikTakRadio.com waves.
We just can’t forget the nice interplay DJ Zazzy had with Mixmaster Raitis last month therefore we expect Zazzy will bring the same cool vibe back again this time.
DJ BraveSoul is relatively fresh in the scene and says that his challenge is to release your soul out of your frame - your body.
So, open your heart and let your soul fly! Just don’t forget to gather your soul back into your body when leaving : )
Saturday, the 6th of February will bring an exclusive bunch of DJs here in S:G. Actually, we hear them so seldom that it almost seems they’ve come from space! Accordingly, they’ll bring you… What else – techno, of course!
DJ Esse, for example, plays so rarely and spends so much time in his Vilnius studio that has managed to get him released on such cool labels as: Ostwind, Neurotron, Futureaudio, Time has changed, Flying flowers, Night drive, Salto and the list goes on and on. Hard work pays off, doesn’t it?
With great honour we give you our pride and joy – NGC-5128 who has releases on Exposed Audio, Netcords and Team Tomorrow labels. While residing in London, UK for years already, he still remains much respected among techno lovers here because we doubt that the scene would be the same if not him and his Techno Carnivals.
For unknown reasons we haven’t hosted our dear Kris Crown since November when he played with President Bongo. We missed him very much and we hope it’s a mutual thing : )
We don’t know much about DJ Astron from Cēsis, but having that space-a-licious name and being NGC-5128’s protégé was enough to gladly let him play. Btw check out his mix!
