Due to our recent hot’n’fun roofff life in the VEF area it has been quite a while (to say the least) since we’ve had a decent party on the ground. So here it comes – This Friday, 27th of August in Andrejsala’s Peahen the long awaited Fight For Fun sequel flings to you in sync with the last days of summer. Heads up, ladies – probably the last party of this year wearing your shortest-est summer dresses. : (
Now about the music – dresses might be short but the music won’t be. To make this night unforgettable, fresh techno & whatnot will be delivered by our dear friend from Amsterdam & NYC’s Thema rec – Jeroen Kuiper aka Monotron. He will play live, in stereo, btw.
Local support covering techno / acid / 2-step / accidental music will be from our quality dj’s list – Brain, Moire & morning madness set from Uppfade aka Skabais Janis aka Grupa Svaigums.

Before we’re off to Tundra festival we decided to have a night with no mosquitos but yet with skitloads of fun! So, all who wish to wind up after these sweaty working days, this Friday, July the 2nd, are welcome to Fight For Fun at the third event of the series.
You will be moved, grooved and bounced by variations of Techno, Dubstep and everything in between with the clever fingers of DJs: Ivars Zalkalns, Minciisha Ieraksti & Sairam, Kris Hovel, Milkmagic and Funkstrot.
Andrejsala is our bitch and we continue to explore its chambers. While we linger to decide between some, don’t you worry – you will easily find the spot just by following the baddest grove, right people and free entrance.

You are cordially invited to another our very special event – Hlamour which will be held on 4th of June at our beloved Andrejsala. Yes, indeed! But since we had such a splendid afterhours at Dacha’s terrace last time, we decided to have this party there! Why the heck not!
This time it’s going to be all about being, feeling and looking hot, therefore the dresscode is Trashy-kinky Hlamour. Be sexy and fierce and dress to impress and you might be chosen by our fashion police-chicks to receive a free drink! Yeah – and the entrance is free as well!

All you need to do is be fresh as daisy because this is going to be one damn good and extended social! Dacha has plenty of artificial grass at the bank of Daugava for us to have another spectacular urban morning picnic ; ) C ya mi amos!
First, thanks everybody for coming to our last party on Andrejsala, you were great. Looks like it will be our style this summer - pop-up shows here and there. For this we are gathering information about cool places in Riga (and outside Riga too!), so if you or your friends know (or better own) good picturesque place for nice open-air, write to contactforfriendship@gmail.com.
There are many questions about photos from parties in the comments: we do not take care of the photos, its in the hands of their authors - respected photographers, so try to find them on facebook and such.
And last thing before going to music: with this new pop-up party concept, things might happen spontaneously, so its quite essential to check this page and follow us on twitter. Info about the party could be revealed at the same day. You’ve been warned.

Not often we enjoy production of Lv artists, even more rare its a quality production and even more rare its the whole album of quality production. So check out the album by Uppfade - 13 compositions carefully mixed for you. Compiled are works of the last 6 months period, including the famous Vaseline feat. Heida and Concentrate on Groove, which is keeping its place in Beatport Top20 for a few weeks already (last week it made to Nr.1).
Not too serious, not too cheesy, just how we like it.

Mos def the weather is the best and we are for sure in serious withdrawal for a party! There will be major differences from what some of you might have heard, but we are keeping our word and the party titled Fight For Fun Vol. 2 is on this friday, the 21st of May!

There will be no entrance fee! You will have money for an extra drink at the bar! With that drink you will receive a questionnaire by filling which you will get a chance to obtain your very own Space:Card! So it’s all in your hands, honey!
And of course, the main course – the magic of techno, dub-step, acid & 8-bit music which will be brought to your thirsty organs of sense by: Kabeat (Mikadostolper/Berlin), Laurent Dathie, Milkmagic, Grupa Svaigums and Kodek.
