We are extremely proud to host Koelse.org workshop in Space:Garage within the frameworks of Finvaders event. Koelse.org is a finnish Association of Experimantal Electronics. Browse their flickr albums to get a better idea of what are they doing.
Everyone with the interest in electronics and marginal art forms is invited to participate in the workshop, though we couldnt fit more than 10 people, so please confirm your participation by e-mail or call: +371 26769446. Everyone as well is invited to donate electronic junk. Anything goes: old radios, casette players, lamps, kitchen appliances … everything. No matter is it working or not. Bring them to Dirty Deal Cafe, or contact us by e-mail.

Programm for workshop:

“In the workshop we will study the basis of experimental electronics by two different methods. As a basis, we will build Atari punk Consoles http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atari_Punk_Console , simple oscillating circuits, that we package in different
recycled materials.

Secondly, we will get familiar with HEM-concept developed by the association of experimental electronics. The idea is to build device, slightly similar to older modular synthezisers, from old home electronics; Old C-cassette players will be oscillators, tuners will be noise generators, recordplayers will be sequencer, or something totally different. We don’t know; We’ll find it out through experiment. By this experience, the space will finally be an installation, which will consist of KOELSE’s own equipment and the one’s built at the workshop. Everyone in the workshop can and will affect the final installation.”

Date/Time: saturday, may 26, starting from 10 o/clock in the morning.

Place:
Space:Garage on Andrejsala, Riga

Notes: Participants must bring some old electronic junk to the workshop.
Its also advisable to have lunchboxes or something, as we are not providing food for participants.

See you soon!
